Birthday Bash Mini Crop - Challenge #1 Birthday Recipe

Welcome to Scrapping Everyday Miracles Birthday Bash Mini Crop with Challenges. I am lucky enough to be starting things off. Here is challenge #1

BIRTHDAY BASH CHALLENGE #1 ( using your actual birthday to get the recipe)
This is a recipe challenge where you cook up a layout.

START with the base and at least 2 patterned papers (cardstock is optional) and add a title.

THEN: Use your birthday to find the rest of your ingredients! Find your birth month to see how many photos to include on your page:
January, April, July, October – 3 photos
February. May, August, November – 1 photo
March, June, September, December – 2 photos

Use your birth date to see what embellishments you need to use.
For example, if your birthday is on the18th, you would use border and matting.
If your birthday is on the 1st – 9th, use a 0 in front of it (as in 01 - 09).
For example, if your birthday is on the 2nd, you would use 0 and 2 – chipboard and buttons ....
for 15 you would use border and stickers.. get the idea?
1 – border
2 – buttons
3 – ribbon/trim/lace
4 - bling
5 – stickers
6 – flowers
7 – rub ons
8 – matting
9 – tags
0 – chipboard

What decade you were born in determines what technique you use on your page:
30s (or earlier) – stitching
40s – distressing
50s – paint
60s – inking, misting
70s – embossing
80s – stencils
90s (and later) – stamping

My birthday is February 8, 1951 so I used 1 photos, chipboard and matting, paint. PLUS 4 PP, TITLE.
You can use more elements along with the mandatory ones.

You have all month to play along. Link to the side bar inlinkz and mark the Challenge #1 in the title with your name.

There is also an additional random RAK up for grabs if you play along and comment on my personal blog :

Now be sure to come back in 15 minutes to view Challenge #2… you don’t want to miss it.
