In The Word Wednesday

Hi everyone...Debbie here with the In The Word Wednesday.     I read from the devotional book by Anne Graham Lotz called Fixing My Eyes On Jesus.
I would like to share one of the daily readings from it called "The Potter"

If you're a child of God and going through a difficult time, know that your suffering isn't wasted.  God is molding you - and remolding you - in His image, and He knows exactly what He is doing.  The apostle Paul reminds us that "our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all" (2 Corinthians 4:17)
The spiritual principle is that in some way God uses suffering to transform ordinary, dust-clay people like us into vessels that are strong in faith, vessels that are fit for His use, vessels that display His glory to the watching world.
Are you feeling pressure? Stress?  Are you suffering hurt or heartache?  Illness or injustice?  Don't waste your sorrow!  In these momentary troubles you are achieving an eternal glory.  Praise God!  He is remaking you into a vessel that seems best to Him.

Isn't our God amazing!  So full of love and concern for His children...that He won't leave us in the place that we are in.

Love this! The idea that He is remaking us into a vessel that seems best to HIM is a great reminder to let Him mold us (& not try to figure it all out on our own).

to know that nothing I go thru is wasted, that our God uses all of our experiences for His purpose helps to understand when we are going through unexplainable hard times they will be used for greater good. Great post Deb.
