Announcing our New Design Team!

We are excited to announce our new design team!

New Members
Nolene Burnett
South Africa

Hello, my name is Nolene Burnett and I live in beautiful (and windy) Cape Town, South Africa with my husband and 8-year old daughter. I started scrapbooking in 2008 and have since been learning new techniques and the application of new products, while developing my style and growing as an artist. My daughter is usually the source of my inspiration and she is featured on 90% of my projects. I found the Lord and accepted Him as my personal savior in 1996. I met my husband in church and we have been married since 1999. I love worshiping God and have always felt called to worship as a ministry. I love my Lord and want to worship and serve Him any way possible. I have always wanted to do that in some creative way and feel that this is my opportunity to do so.

An'Jenic Gibson
United States

Hello I’m An’Jenic. I’m a military wife to an amazing husband.  We have been married for seven years. We have two beautiful girls: Terrion who is eleven and Liana who is four.  I’ve been a stay at home mom off and on for six years. I started scrapbooking shortly after I had my second child. I later learned of blogging and card making and since then have truly enjoyed it. I believe that God sent his son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. I’m truly blessed that Jesus Christ was so willing to give up his life be our one and only Savior.  I’m honored that he has called me to be a light unto the world. I found Christ as a young girl through my parents. But I didn't fully understand who God was until my early twenty's. God has since then been in my life and truly is a blessing.

Robin Cunningham
United States

I have been married to a wonderful, godly man for 31 years and we have been blessed with 4 beautiful daughters, 2 incredible sons-in-law, and one little chihuahua. I came to know the Lord at the age of 12 and have grown in my walk as a Christian every single day. We love to travel and since our children are spread all over the U.S., we get to visit lots of fun places such as Alaska, Washington, DC, North Carolina and northern Ohio. I never leave home without my camera and love to take pictures of people, places, and things!  I am a RN and feel so blessed to have an occupation that has offered me a great work-life balance. As much as I love to scrapbook, my true passion is providing medical care to the under-served in third world countries. At least once a year, I go on a short term medical missions trip with a team that provides basic medical care to the people that have never had access to any type of medical care. But more importantly, our team takes the message of God's love to these people. As much as we bless them with the message and medicine, I always come home feeling like I was the one that was truly blessed by being able to serve them. I love the life I have been given and pray each day that I will honor the Lord with my thoughts, words, and actions! I look forward to sharing a little bit of my life with you through scrapbooking over the next few months.

Hi I'm Helen G., I was born and raised in Indonesia. By God's grace, I came to know Christ when I was at Collage and since then He has been so faithful in my life and my family, never once He forsake us! I met my husband when he went to my country for a short mission trip with a mission agency in 2006.  In 2008 I made a scrap-journaling book with pictures and journaling of our trips and first year, later then I found out that what was called as scrapbooking. In 2009, I started creating 12x12 layouts after our first baby was born for her first year book. Then I was introduced to Digital Scrapbooking in 2010 using Photoshop Element 10, MyMemories Suite and Studio J. Love scrapping both ways! My hubby got me a BIG SURPRISE a month after our second baby was born, he got me a Silhouette Cameo! Ever since, I cannot making layouts, or making cards, or even creating any crafts without it.

Christy Houser
United States
My name is Christy Houser. It seems like I’ve been artsy my whole life. I’ve been in love with art ever since I was little and writing my name on the floorboards with a crayon. My husband of many years and 3 girls are the basis for most of my art, featured as the main subjects in just about everything I do. With a supportive family, I’ve been able to dabble in whatever catches my fancy. I’m drawn to scrapbooking and mixed media and I love to blur the line between the two. Any day when I can get my fingers messy is a good day. I love experimenting with tried-and-true techniques and giving them my very own spin. I believe strongly in sharing the gift I have been given with others, ask how I do something and I will always be willing to share.

Jessica Shurts

My name is Jessica Shurts.  I am a stay-at-home mom to 4 wonderful blessings.  I am a born and raised Catholic.  I have really started to delve into my faith as an adult, thanks to some amazing friends who have inspired me.  I love being inspired to inject my beliefs into my pages and I feel Scrapping Everyday Miracles inspires me to do just that!  I am honored to be on the team for another term!

Nicole Brenna

Hi My name is Nicole Brenna and I created SEM a few years ago to celebrate all of God's everyday miracles in our lives.  I became ill earlier this year and have had to turn SEM over to the Roberta to run it in my absence.  I am so blessed to see how amazing SEM is right now!  As I get better you might find me creating a sample project or two but for now I have to take it easy.  I currently live in Norway above the Arctic Circle with my husband, daughter, two dogs, two cats and two rats!  I am originally from California but I am enjoying seeing how God is challenging me and using me here in Norway.  I look forward to getting better and being able to once again share my creations and fellowship more with all of the loyal SEM followers.
We hope you enjoy all of our creations, and will join us on the 1st of each month for challenges!
