Challenge #22-Family Ties

Cara here to bring you November's main challenge...with the holidays coming up, what comes to my mind is the blessing of my family.  So I'm calling the Challenge this month FAMILY TIES...meaning I want you to create a project about your family.

Keep in mind that there are all kinds of families...they could include your smaller immediate family, your extended family (grandpas & grandmas, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc), your "adopted into" family, your church family, your family of friends, etc. Whatever kind of "family" God has blessed you with, journal about those special "ties" that bind you to each other.

*Scrap Twist: To go along with the "tie" theme...and in honor of me being a horrible ribbon-hoarder, I am asking you to use some ribbon on your project.

Here's what our Design Team created:
*Hover your mouse over each photo to see what each gal had to say about her project

In the midst of fighting the battle against Cystic Fibrosis for my neice Vivi, I am profoundly blessed to be a part of such a strong, dedictaed and loving family and large extended family. Without this battle cry, we would not be as bonded as we are. What an amazing blessing in this storm!

Our SPONSOR this month is Peace, Love & Scrapbooking

Peace, Love & Scrapbooking was born out of a passion for scrapbooking and preserving memories.  They strive to put together kits that feature the latest products from several manufacturers ... taking care to make sure everything coordinates perfectly!  Each kit is jam packed with paper and embellies and will always contain enough product for you to create several stunning layouts or cards.  They aren't a typical kit club, there is no membership or monthly minimums ... just beautiful kits at one low price!  You choose what you want, when you want it and how many of each kit you'd like!

The lucky winner will receive a gift certificate good toward the kit of their choice!

Also...they will offer a 15% discount for anyone that orders a kit during the month of November!  Use code: GC0906338

For a chance to win this awesome prize, link up a project by November 30th 11:59pm PST. *ImportantMake sure your link is to the blog post with your project & not just your blog in general...and be sure to remember the SCRAP TWIST!

Plus our Design Team will choose their top 3 layouts from all the entries...then those layouts will be featured in our Winners Post on December 8th.

Amazing layouts indeed. I made a card and not sure if it excepted, but it does have to do with welcoming someone back home,so I thought I would link it up here as well. Thanks.

I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the page layout of your site?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to
say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two
images. Maybe you could space it out better?
